There is one on the cylinder head, under the air inlet tube area, if that is what you are talking about. You give no context here. DivineChaos Top Post Dawg. Like many others, I am getting the low engine oil pressure warning.
Looks like the following:. DivineChaos said:. Hopefully it's actually the sensor.

I hope so, too, but where is it located? I have looked up, down, left, and right and it will just not leap out at me. Is it out of view under the oil filter housing? Oilhammer said already.
I believe that is the one you want, on the head. It is on the same "side" of the head as the turbocharger, so the backside nearest the firewall, towards the flywheel end of the head. It is seen easier once the air inlet tube to the turbo is removed. The lifting eye is back in that area too. I was a member some time back, when I still had my Jetta TDI that went back to the mothership in the recall.
Folks here are well-informed and responsive. I am grateful for your help. As soon as my wife gets here with the car, I'll locate the sensor and write you back with my results. Very much obliged, David.

Oilhammer, I have removed the turbo air inlet tube. I still cannot physically find the engine oil pressure switch. I have a couple of pictures, but I do not know how to insert them into my message.
